Plans for Feb 13th

I have been planting Mondo grass by the side of the house in a narrow border - this helps to eliminate the need to weed whack close to the brick walls - since the mower can get the edges of the border. I still have a lot of extra Mondo grass, I mean lots, and I started with one 8" pot just 3 years ago, anyway, I am going to fill in this border and also fill in the area around the two heating units. Otherwise I'll keep fighting with the weeds there.
I also noticed that the daylilies I yanked out and threw on the ground are sprouting; If they are that hardy, I should respect them and will add them to the side of the house. I think I did not like the flowers that much but they can bloom there all they want.
Also on the cards tomorrow, sow all the seeds I have. That means a trip to the hardware store for perlite; and I can also check out their dahlia selection. I am also putting final touches on my Park seed order.
What else? I need to protect some of the Heucheras which seem to be the favorite food of the rabbits. So maybe cut up milk jugs around them will work, won't be too pretty though.
Major decisions to be made:
1. Move Hydrangeas? I think yes, I have moved them before and they were ok.
2. Move the Japanese Maple? Yes, but where? That is the problem. So maybe I will keep it and just keep it pruned short.
3. Move Leucothoe? Yes, I'll just make sure I get all the root ball.
4. Move all three extra Knockouts to the back of the front bed, fronting the Hollies?
This is a very difficult decision. I think I may be creating a lot more unnecessary work for me this way.
5. Move the sweet autumn clematis vine somewhere - it will eat up the whole deck this year if I let it stay where it is. Pruning it is no answer, it seems to grow as I am cutting it down and I do like the fragrant white flowers. Maybe at the back of the old shade bed where it can climb some tree ?
Oh, decisions, decisions!
And my arms, specially the right one, is so scratched up from the grasses I cut today, it is very painful right now.I can see quite a few cuts.
Maybe next year I'll hire someone to do this chore for me.
