Meet Harry

He was an only child until I split him in two.
It is t-shirt weather - I have been digging - I am in heaven :)
I turned over about a foot of soil and half decomposed matter in my new lasagna bed ; all the shredded paper ,grass, banana peels and egg shells have totally decomposed. Chopped leaves are still there, about halfway decomposed. I have covered them with the turned over soil and found so, so many earthworms :)
Ooh - I am so happy.
I have been carrying around the worms in my hand and my palm smells so delciously wormy!
But I had to wash hands to cook dinner.

Music today : Rammstein's 'Herzeleid' and Loretta Lynn's 'Van Lear Rose' - both good and so different from each other.

Harry has just been renamed "Princess" by the little girl next door :)
