Betty Prior

Rose 'Betty Prior' , a good disease free shrub. I have seen a bit of black spot on this but not anything like the hybrid teas. Since I don't spray or use chemicals, the shrub roses work much better for me. The blooms on this one are more like dogwood blooms than regular rose blooms. The shrub gets very tall and is about 8-9 feet tall right now. I have Geranium 'Alpenglow' at its feet and also had bedding Begonias and Impatiens both of which are looking sad now after the frost.
