Some Hostas

Some are survivors from last year, some have just been bought. All the good ones are to stay in pots so they may be safe from the voles.

My first Tiarella

Tiarella 'Jeepers creepers'; I don't know why I have never planted one before. Anyway, I ordered one in Park's end of the season sale and it arrived about a month ago in my mail box, looking happy and healthy. I must say they packed the plants really well and they have all done well except for one sedum. This one has grown quite a bit since.

Echinacea purpurea

I started this from seed a few years ago. The little seedling has grown really large. It self seeds every year and I keep getting more and more plants. I now have them scattered around the yard. But this is my first, so I feel like a proud mom when I see it blooming so happily.

Shades of 'Knockout'

My favorite, the 'Blush Knockout'. It is such a delicate color. I just got the pink one and this one about a month ago, so they are small, but I am looking forward to them growing as huge as my original ones.

Now we have the pink one.
The first 'Knockout' was this cherry color.

Spring is coming

Pussywillow 'Salox discolor' is sprouting new leaves and the catkins are opeing up.
I posted this picture and then looked at last year's garden blog and found this - I can't believe I posted it exactly a year ago; how consistent is that!
